Recently, I wrote a healthy-baking swap guide for my friend Hollie’s blog, over at Muscles and Munchkins!  She is super awesome – a mom, fitness instructor, marathon runner, and a blogger!  She also has a lot of awesome tips and a fantastic perspective on how to be fit and healthy, the right way.

No-Bake Chocolate Power Truffles

The dog ate my homework.  Well, actually, I spilled my oatmeal on it, and then the dog ate the oatmeal off it, so now it’s just ruined.  I mean, it fell on the floor first… See, my oatmeal was just sitting on the corner of my homework, and my homework was attached to my sleeve, so when I went to walk away they both fell on the floor.  Why was it attached to my sleeve?  That’s another story, but I was babysitting the other day…

So maybe the dog ate the homework.  Or maybe it’s just easier to say that than what really happened.  Either way, the homework isn’t here.  It was supposed to be… only it isn’t.

According to the New York Times, a third of people who make New Year’s resolutions have already broken them by this month.  That’s a lot of people who had their dog eat their homework.  Or whatever their particular case is.  And, far from blaming anyone, I can see how it happens.  First of the year or not, it’s nearly impossible to just wake up one day and do everything completely different.
