It’s not every day that you get to dunk food into paint and call it art.  Thus, the reason dying Easter eggs is such great fun for kids – and heck, adults, too! 

As a kid, though, my sister and I used to get pretty fancy with our egg designs.  No big deal, but… they were kinda awesome.  (Our white table was proof of all the colors we used for days afterward.)  But, you know, food art can’t last forever, so when it came time to dismantle the masterpieces, we had to make new creations out of the old ones.
