Multitask Your Workout

I shared my last fitness post, Abs in a Hurry, to tone and strengthen the core in three ways - through correct form, resistance, and multi-joint action. 

This time, I want to show you my favorite ways to tone up everywhere and burn calories at the same time with multitasking exercises.  Yes, at long last, another way to really multitask.  These exercises and making yeasted bread are pretty much tops for that.

Speaking of multitasking, I have decided to post a bunch of these exercises in one post like the abs trifecta series.  (And, like the abs series, I'll post one at a time. Gotta keep you comin' back! ;) What would be the point of multitasking exercises if you had to spend all day searching for each one?

For the most effective workout, do each one of these exercises once, with a minute of cardio (jumping jacks, burpees, mountain climbers, etc.) in between.  Then, repeat the whole thing once more!
